p.s. I took this set of photos in my friend's sublet in Park Slope, Brooklyn. Isn't the room awesome? I love the design made with old, found washers. The rest of the walls are orange, red, and yellow, and theres beautiful stuff all over the place.

I was inspired by this What I Wore blog and flickr group to do a little illustration of my own today. Instead of working on projects that actually have deadlines and what not, I decided to draw this. (click image to zoom). This skirt/tights/boots combo has become sort of a staple for me this Fall. Do you have any staples?

This is the home of Parisian textile designer Ombline de Kersabiec. She pretty much uses all of my current favorite color combinations here. Greys, green-yellow, blue with pops of bright pink and dark green. I also love the bike runner and bike throw pillow!

Vena Cava converse are on sale at converse.com. I'm usually in love with their dresses and prints and think the sneaker is cool. This is what the designers say about their shoe design that was hand-drawn with sharpie, "Hidden in the drawing are shout outs to Pappy Van Winkle, chocolate covered orange peels, Greta Garbo, Peter Lugers, Dr. Strangelove, and walrus. "
